Colorado Springs, CO Now – December 03, 2015 – The Promenade Shops at Briargate will take part in the Silver Key Giving Tree
Again, this year, the Silver Key Giving Tree and will be the charity of choice for the holiday season for The Promenade Shops at Briargate. Silver Key Senior Services is an organization dedicated to the elderly. They are a non-profit organization founded in 1971, annually assisting over 15,000 elderly in the Pikes Peak region. Many seniors are homebound, some are alone, and many would not receive a single gift this holiday season if it were not for the Giving Tree Project.
The ornaments are being handmade by local Girl Scout troops and each ornament represents a specific request for an elder. Local residents are welcome to support the Silver Key by choosing an ornament from trees at participating stores, and returning the gift and ornament to the store no later than December 3, 2015.
