Annual Holiday Lighting event to benefit victims of California wild fires
Colorado Springs, CO (October 30, 2007) –Light up the Holidays with The Promenade Shops at Briargate and do your part to assist the victims of the wild fires in Southern California by making a donation to the San Diego Chapter of The American Red Cross. Join us Friday, November 16, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as we turn on the dazzling lights and glittering decorations of the Center and officially kick off the Holiday Shopping Season. The Jolly Old Elf himself, Santa, will make a special appearance to turn on the first lights of the Holiday Season.
Live Holiday music will fill the air and there will be free hot chocolate and treats courtesy of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. There will be face painters for the kids, and live entertainment.
Pick up a live Blue Spruce seedling for a recommended donation of $2. All proceeds will go to the San Diego Chapter of The American Red Cross with a matching donation provided by Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers.
You’ll also have the opportunity to select an ornament from the Silver Key Giving Tree and help fulfill a special holiday wish for a local senior citizen. Purchase a gift and return it to The Promenade Shops at Briargate to make a senior’s holiday bright.
Santa flips the switch at 6:00 sharp! Don´t miss it!
