Holiday Experiences Make Their Way to The Promenade Shops at Briargate
Visit Santa’s Cottage, Kid & Pet-Friendly Photo Ops, New Stores, Extended Hours, and The Grinch

Colorado Springs, COLO. [November 27, 2024] - Interactive holiday experiences between Black Friday and December 22 will be making their way to The Shops for visitors to enjoy at 1885 Briargate Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. Newly added this year is Santa’s Cottage, located at the Southwest corner of The Shops in the Pikes Peak Patio next to Ted’s Montana Grill where Mr. and Mrs. Claus can be found for photos.

“We are thrilled to showcase many of the same fan-favorites our shoppers have come to know and love over the years and are excited to announce a new addition this year - Santa’s Cottage! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our family-owned and operated local partner, Sunset Buildings. Their cabin ranch was graciously donated to us and was perfect for our Santa Cottage,” said Debby LaMotte, General Property Manager at The Promenade Shops at Briargate. “This will create a magical and memorable experience that little ones can cherish for years. Creating memories; that’s the foundation of what The Shops is and always has been about.” LaMotte added. 

In addition to the newly added Santa’s Cottage, shoppers can expect to enjoy photo opportunities with Mr. and Mrs. Claus that are kid and pet-friendly and visits by The Grinch when you donate a pack of children or adult socks to benefit Springs Rescue Mission. Shoppers can also enjoy extended holiday shopping hours, as well as new store openings to include Free People, J.Jill & Fabletics. The Shops are also partnering with non-profit organizations Springs Rescue Mission for Socks for Santa, and Salvation Army for the Angel Giving Tree. 

The Shops’ Holiday Events Include:

Santa’s Arrival: Santa & Mrs. Claus Arrive at Santa’s Cottage
Friday, November 29 at noon at Pikes Peak Patio, next to Ted’s Montana Grill
Beginning Friday, November 29th, and continuing every weekend through December 22nd, join us for holiday fun, and bring your camera to capture all the magical moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus. 
Free Photos and Santa visit at Santa’s Cottage (From November 29 - December 22)
Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s, 12 - 5 pm, next to Ted’s Montana Grill
When you donate a new pair of children’s or adult socks to Springs Rescue Mission.
Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Thursday, December 5, 3 - 5 pm, located in Arhaus
Parents and kids can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies and settle in for a jolly adventure when Mrs. Claus shares some holiday favorite stories. Donations of new unwrapped toys are encouraged to benefit The Salvation Army's Angel Giving Tree.
